The lack of a high-score system really hurts this game, but for a quick diversion when you’re out and about or just lounging on the patio at home, at a perfect price of $3.99 USD, you get a lot of entertainment for the price of one breakfast. If you are not a fan of the genre and hate strategy games, however, this likely will not change your mind. Even people who only occasionally play this type of game should consider picking this up due to the variation in towers and almost RPG-like interactions between them and the Vectoids. Vector TD Hacked Game & Hack Information 87864 Plays Tower Defence 1.51 MB Hacked By: victor Tweet Hack Information: Infinity Cash, lives, and Bonuses Game Information The aim of the game is to eliminate the Vectoid threat before they reach the end of the path. The bottom line is that fans of the tower defense genre should definitely give this title a go. Also, the music, while a fittingly bumping soundtrack, does tend to wear thin after a few waves of enemies. Once your game is over, you just restart or choose a new map. It does not appear to track high scores for the different maps you can play on. However, there are a few blemishes on this otherwise polished game that must be addressed. Since it is a PSP Mini, it can also be played on the PS3 and looks just fine on a large screen. Nice score - too bad it won't stick.Īll of this adds up to a solid tower defense game to play on the go. You can also spend your bonus points to raise your interest rate, which increases the amount of money you receive for each enemy destroyed, or on an extra five lives. These can be spent on one of two upgrade towers, which don’t attack enemies but boost either the damage or range of nearby towers. While you earn money for every destroyed enemy, occasionally a yellow bonus ring comes into play. For example, placing towers near the exit of the level set to target the weakest enemy (the one with the least amount of health left) will reduce the number of lives you lose should the wave of enemies break through your towers closer to the entrance. What adds a bit more to the strategy aspect of this game is that you can set each tower’s attack mode. Which targeting strategy should be used here? If all of this sounds complex, the game does a very good job of using screen real estate and you can easily figure out what tower is going to be needed for an upcoming wave of enemies. These towers can be upgraded once placed, up to level 10. Each tower color has three increasingly deadly (and expensive) towers, except the blue towers which only have two different variations. For example, the red towers do 150% damage to red “Shredder” Vectoids, but they only do 50% damage to green “flyer” Vectoids. Each of these tower types can attack any type of Vectoid, but some towers fair better than others against a certain-colored Vectoid, and some fair worse. In addition to seven different types of enemies, there are 11 different types of towers in four categories: green, red, purple and blue. The entire game actually has a unique art style that fits quite nicely with this genre of games. There are seven different types of enemies, called “Vectoids.” These enemies are of various colors and, as their name suggests, they are vector shapes. My end results were 38 blue towers (level 1), 122 red towers (level 3), $2.2 million, and 8.93 million points. The game appears simple at first, but upon closer inspection, there is plenty of depth to be had. If you continue to do this, you will eventually have more money than you can spend (by level 40 I had about $400,000, which escalated to $800,000 by level 46-47, even as I was buying level 3 red towers non-stop). To put this into perspective, by level 20 I had $100,000, and my offensive consisted of three level 3 red towers and four level 1 blue towers. Basically, spend as little as possible, and when you do, make sure that after your purchase you'll still have a substantial amount of money left. You basically want to build up a cash pool that increases your interest gain with each round. After you purchase this damage whore, you should buy absolutely NOTHING until the health of the mobs reaches somewhere around 45,000, or until your red tower becomes overwhelmed. If you placed your blue towers correctly, you should be able to get to at least $2,700 before the mobs get powerful enough where you have to buy your level 3 red tower. But don't buy it until you absolutely have to. At this point all you need to do is save for a single level 3 red tower. But only buy 3-5 (this should be done before you reach level 9). Purchase the Red Tower (level 1) to start, and then as soon as you can afford them immediately invest in blue towers (sell your first red tower to boost your initial cash level once the first red wave has passed). The key to this game, as previously stated, is money management.
